With two weeks left before school starts, I realized that I haven't thanked you in a long time. I know we don't have a exclusive relationship. Mothers everywhere rely on you, especially over the summer. But it is important to me that
you know how much I appreciate your support this summer. When the kids spent all day fighting, you were there for me. When the kids would't turn the TV off and go to bed, you were there for me. When the kids trashed the house, you were there. When other war-weary moms got together for a much needed ladies night, you were there for all of us. Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend was full of it. It is definitely wine!
If you ever feel unappreciated, just look at the countless memes we share. They are all basically the same, but every woman laughs at them because they are so true! When you are buried up to your neck in legos, the kids are hurling
plastic dinosaurs at each other, and you sent the dogs to the grocery store because you haven't showered in two days, the silver lining is that glass of wine at the end of the day.
There are only two more weeks until school starts again. With your support, I know I can survive. In case I don't say it enough, thank you, Wine. You are appreciated by moms everywhere.
